Terms of service

Last updated: 13 October 2026

These terms apply to every order placed in the Moodly online store. Please read them before you order.

1. Who we are

The store is operated by:

Vojtěch Sedlák, trading as Moodly

Address: Lazecká 537/19a, 779 00 Olomouc, Czech Republic

Company ID (IČO): 30114411

Sole trader registered in the Czech Trade Register. Not a VAT payer.

E-mail: moodly.lights@gmail.com

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean the seller named above. The quickest way to reach us is by e-mail.

2. Products and prices

We describe and photograph our products as accurately as we can. Natural materials such as wood, stone and bamboo differ from piece to piece, and colours can look slightly different on your screen.

Prices are shown in the currency selected in the store. The price you see is the final price: it includes shipping and all applicable taxes. The price that applies is the one shown when you place your order.

3. Ordering

When you place an order, we send you an e-mail confirming that we have received it. The contract between you and us is concluded when we confirm your order by e-mail.

If a product turns out to be unavailable, or was listed with an obvious error in its price or description, we will tell you without delay and refund anything you have already paid.

4. Payment

You pay online at checkout using one of the payment methods offered there. Payments are handled by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card details.

5. Delivery

Shipping is free on every order. Delivery usually takes 8–14 days from your order. Orders are dispatched directly from our suppliers' warehouses, which may be located outside the European Union, and an order with several items may arrive in more than one parcel.

If your order has not arrived within 30 days, write to us. You can choose between a new delivery and cancelling the order with a full refund. Details are in our shipping policy.

6. Your right to withdraw (14 days)

If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving the product, without giving a reason. How to do it, who pays for the return and how the refund works is described in our refund policy.

7. Faulty products and complaints

We are responsible for the product being free from defects when you receive it. If you are a consumer, you have the statutory rights that apply to faulty goods under Czech and EU consumer law. In particular, you can report a defect that shows up within two years of receiving the product.

How to complain: write to moodly.lights@gmail.com with your order number, a short description of the problem and a photo or video. We will confirm that we have received your complaint and resolve it without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days unless we agree on a longer period with you.

What you can ask for: a repair or a replacement. If neither is possible, if the defect comes back, or if the defect is serious, you can ask for a reasonable price reduction or cancel the purchase and get your money back. If your complaint is justified, we also reimburse the reasonable costs you had in making it, such as postage.

What is not a defect: normal wear and tear, damage caused by incorrect installation, improper use, modification or an accident, and the natural variation of materials described in section 2.

These rights apply in addition to your right to withdraw within 14 days.

8. Safe installation and use

Pendant, ceiling and hard-wired wall lights have to be connected to your home's wiring by a qualified electrician. Follow the instructions supplied with the product. Unless the product description says otherwise, our lights are for indoor use only.

9. Personal data

How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy policy.

10. Complaints and disputes

If something goes wrong, please contact us first – we want to put it right.

If we cannot agree, consumers can use out-of-court dispute resolution through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce), www.coi.cz, which is also the authority that supervises compliance with consumer protection law. If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre in your country can also help you.

These terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of the country where you live.
